How Laeva works

Laeva support briefs

Laeva support briefs are designed to provide firm lift and optimal compression of the pelvic floor. The unique weaving of the fabric targets the compression towards the pelvic floor to support the anatomical structures – without creating unnecessary tightness elsewhere.

Laeva support pad

The support pad is made from 100% medical-grade silicone and is placed in the inner pocket in the gusset of the support briefs, providing extra lift directly to the pelvic floor. Its shape ensures that the support is directed to the right area, while the holes provide ventilation and flexibility. The support pad is available in a soft and a firm version, so you can adjust the level of support to your needs.

A unique combination

The combination of Laeva support briefs and the support pad provides targeted support for the pelvic floor and helps relieve symptoms such as heaviness, discomfort and pain. Ideal after pregnancy and childbirth, when the pelvic floor muscles have been stretched and put under strain, but also later in life – for example, in cases of pelvic organ prolapse. At the same time, Laeva helps improve your contact with the pelvic floor, making it easier to feel your pelvic floor contractions.
The support briefs can be worn on their own, while the support pad can be added when extra support is needed.

Developed based on more than 40 years of clinical experience

Laeva is developed by urogynecologist Karl Møller Bek, based on more than 40 years of clinical experience and in close collaboration with midwives and other healthcare professionals. The solution has been tested by women in Denmark and developed with their experiences and needs as an important part of the process.

We’re not developing Laeva on our own

Our products are developed in close collaboration with a growing network of pelvic health physiotherapists, midwives, doctors and gynaecologists, as well as the women who use our products. The healthcare professionals’ experience and the women’s feedback provide us with valuable insights that help us continuously develop Laeva and strengthen our clinical evidence.
